ECEE Fini!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the people that came to the Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo and stopped by the table to chat! It was exciting to see Edmonton have an epic show much like my hometown, and it showcased to be such a success! I even got a portfolio review with Bioware and it was a real eye opener. Lots to do and learn from.

I've already booked in for a table again for next year so I'll see you wall back in Edmonton in September! It was a very special and humbling honor to speak with each and everyone of you!

For now I drew a couple of sketches while I was there. Cheers and see you at the Calgary Expo next April!

Tried to do something artsy with the background. I don't do many backgrounds in my pieces because they are a lot of work. But it looks fuller...Inking starts soon...

Digital practice

The last couple of nights, been working on a lot of digital artwork and practicing with Sketchbook pro that I got a month ago and haven't even touched.  So I figure since I bought it I should use it.  Here's a couple of pieces from that, one is from yesterday, the other is tonight.  Enjoy!  And let me know what you think!  

Been busy...As usual.

Hey gang, I've been super busy with a lot of crap.  But this was created a while ago, and haven't been able to share.  Main character design for the comic book project I'm currently working on.  Also keep a look out as I am redoing some of the old comic book pages I've done for when I use to be a part of my label I co-founded, called Vicious Ambitious.  Trying to update my portfolio and get ready to break into the business...Thanks all for watching the support is more than I could ask for.

Working with some new tools!

Started working with Sumi ink and a No.3 brush.  Really like the turn out and the blackness of the ink.  Never was confident of my inking but this has changed that!  Can't wait to use it more!

Taking a break from the Superheroes

Stepped away from the superheroes and super ladies...The Queen of Blades has a lot of detail...Have to re-work the hands, they need to still be elegant yet deadly...sigh...So tired...Enjoy!

Update WIP!

Here are a couple of updates from the pieces I've been working on.  Fixed up the Dark Knight one I was doing, as well as the other one which is a commission.  Enjoy!

Dark Knight Inspiration! More WIP!

I got to see Dark Knight rises tonight.  A pre-screening before even the midnight showing, and I was so excited to see it!  Man after it was over, I was so jazzed to draw something, and of course in spirit of things - I started some roughs for a Batman piece!  Dark Knight Rises was so awesome it helped me put something on paper some more!!!  ENJOY!!!

As always it's been a long time since I've posted, and I've been down and out - some personal matters like getting married for one was the biggest thing preoccupying my time and not feeling the same way I feel about my job.  I'm going to keep pushing!  And one day...One day with all this hard work my dreams will be fulfilled.  Anyways, hope you like today's post!  Currently working a Harley, Phoenix and Black Cat commission!  Enjoy!

So far, it's been a crazy few months.  Two weekends ago the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo and my marriage to my future wife, so it's been pretty hard to post.

But I will sometime next week when things start to settle down...

Aside from that I would like to say I do have my own Facebook fan page now, a friend of mine convinced me to do it finally and now you can like to follow me and figure out where I'll be at conventions, updates on new art and goings on in my art world.

CCEE 2012 - This weekend!!

It's been a long time since I've posted anything.  But I've been pretty busy with work, wedding details and the expo.
